She's at it again....

I've been gathering supplies for my class at Sweetpeas. Yep, you heard it here first... I will be teaching at Sweetpeas and Snapshots in LA on Saturday March 29th. Mark your calendars! I'll have sneak peeks here soon of what I'm going to turn all these goodies into. I plan to bring lots of fun junk from Minnesota to share and create with. Hope to meet you there:)
So it couldn't be a better time to run across a motherload of vintage supplies at an estate sale today. I filled up this adorable trunk with amazing velvet millinery.
The colors on this old stuff just made me swoon!
And I really couldn't pass up this funky purse. It's so ugly it's fantastic!
Hope you're having a great weekend!

Oh, my!
You certainly find the fabulous estate treats. I adore the blue and brown velvet flowers. I love our estate sale scene here.

Congratulations of your teaching opportunity, Kari. I think what you have been doing is fantastic and I watch your progress with such excitement! I cannot wait for your book.

I can't think of a way I am anything but an anonymous but I feel a connection because of my training with Sheila M. and my husband's former connection with your son's school. I love your blogs...seriously. I check them almost every day. I am now in chronic pain and bedridden much of the time and so many times, they make me smile.

Thank you so much.

Wow on the brown millinery, so beautiful..... and ACK!!! on the purse ... it reminds me of Bill the Cat from the old Opus cartoon.... LOVE IT!!!! Maybe I can talk my husband into a little road trip to LA.... what's a 20 hour drive!!!! I've done it before and I would totally do it again. Your class is going to ROCK!

LOVE the purse! I hope I can figure out a way to get to your workshop in LA. How exciting. It's much warmer here in Calif than in Minn.!

What a wonderful time of year to be teaching a class in CA!! Have a great time and soak up some sunshine while you are there. But, I sure wish it was Kansas you were teaching a class at instead!! Oh well, who wants to come here in the winter???
