Vanishing fall...

This time of year, I love to take a bog walk and see the gorgeous orange glow of the tamarak trees. It has become an annual tradition of mine to do this right around the first of November. The bog has a cool, moist feel and a spooky atmosphere. I love the mysterious spongy world that lies underfoot. I try to soak up every last drop of autumn color as it is so fleeting.
Happy November!

Your photos are SO gorgeous! Thank you for letting me enjoy your Fall color too. :) We're just starting to get a little red tinge to the trees that turn out here...never seems to last long enough.

I also love this time of year and treasure every bit of color that remains since I know it will soon disappear. Your photos capture the color and the light beautifully. I felt like I was there.

I am a friend of your mother and father. We traveled to Europe together recently.
